Flame Test

Thought i should really start playing around with lighting a bit more seeing as it is a vital component within my animation. in particular the candles that will light the beginning of my scene, I've tried using the simple flame within 3ds max using a gizmo and then an omni light or the illumination, it's not great but a bit more playing around and i think that it will look good in the old scene.

Online Portfolio, Showreel and Material Library

Updated my online portfolio to fit with the brief, its ok could have a lot of improvements, mostly that i would like it to be a real site and not on wix.

My showreel is also on my online portfolio although youtube has made the quality a bit rubbish.

I have also uploaded some of my Personal material library up to flickr. i wasn't allowed to put all 200 otherwise it would of exceeded my monthly limit or some rubbish?

Top Room

Thought i would share a few developments from the top room of my house, eventually it should be looking pretty cluttered and full, tried rigging today, didn't go so well, i have a feeling its going to be a bit of a drag but at least im only really rigging two characters.... i think.

so as with the doctor he just needs a bit more tweaking i think the next week the rigging of both of them will start, they both very similar in shape so should be pretty similar to rig.... hopefully

Well he is coming along and starting to look a bit better, i'm hoping with the use of lighting in my scene that he will look a lot better.
