After watching a very inspiring video from ‘TED’ on biomimcry I set about designing an environmentally friendly block of flats which used the theory of water harvesting to help run itself.

Delorean Version 2

one of the fours animations that went into my final year project, if im honest i'm not at all happy with the effects, afer some last minute issues with combustion i had to work out how to get something vaguely close in after effects, im going to re-do all the effects in afterburn in 3ds max, hopefull getting a look that is not so cartoonish. Anyway here's a quater of the animation....

Quick V-ray render as always, got in some base textures, going to do some unwrapping tomorrow, below is an image which i want to take inspiration from for environment in the final piece. If i do it right i think it would make a good piece to go in my portfolio as it would show something different apart from just modelling cars.

Another day, another car, however with this i plan to work on some areas that i have not done before, i want to place the car in a rally scene, with realistic outdoor lighting, it will also be a really good modell to practise some unwrapping, giving it dirt and scratched up textures. Theres also a couple of plugins ive researched that i want to try using with this model, anyway more to come.... maybe not for a while because i really need to do some de lorean work at some point.

After trying to make a real iron man suit for a fancy dress party i decided to do it in 3d, very early days, needs much refining etc blah blah blah

Flame test, happy with it as a test but the end is a bit dodgy and its a bit more cartoony than i would like, i'll spend some time playing around with settings etc and i can hopefully make it look better
